"I want people to feel special in my jewelry, knowing that no one else has that exact same piece."
Where are you from?
I am from Philipsburg, PA.
When did you first start making jewelry?
I started making jewelry almost 3 years ago, in the fall of 2013.
What inspired you to make jewelry?
I was living in Pittsburgh at the time, away from family and friends, and needed a hobby. I bought a kit to make my own leather bracelet and after that I was hooked!
What material or techniques do you use to make your pieces?
I hand dye and dry all of my flowers before placing them one by one into resin. I then finish off the look by using metal to wrap the resin pieces.
Why do you think your pieces help people show off their individualism?
Each piece I make is one of a kind and unique in its own way, just like the people who wear them.
What do you want people to feel who wear your pieces?
I want people to feel special in my jewelry, knowing that no one else has that exact same piece.
What are your future ideas or plans for your designs?
My future ideas are to grow my business and be able to make my jewelry full time.
What is your favorite piece of jewelry to make?
My favorite piece of jewelry to make are my scattered flower studs because no matter how similar they look, each one is different and unique its own way.
What is your favorite quote about jewelry or being unique and why?
My favorite quote about jewelry is "Life isn't perfect but your jewelry can be." Life can throw a lot at you, but as long as you have a good piece of jewelry you can get through anything.
