Would it be my blog without a post with crystals? I think not! I found a wonderful silversmith from New York (hey our states touch!) who creates unique silver and crystal handmade jewelry. I discovered Halcyon Jewelry on Instagram, where I find all my features, and fell in love with her arrowhead rings you will see later. After spending about half the night on her Instagram (with absolutely no regrets) I picked a few pictures of her work below.
How amazing are the shapes on these pendants? Crescent moons here we come!
Love the idea of using a stone with a hold for a pendant. You don’t usually see that type of design. The texture and colors in this pendant of out of this world! Its pretty amazing the things that this Earth can create and the design artists like Hannah can make with them!
Was that opals? You betcha! Of course I had to include some of her opal work. Love this bangle with the raised settings for the opals and the stamped design. She actually uses quite a bit of black opals which really compliments her silver designs. And the raised flowers on the turquoise bangle are stunning. So much dimension in such a small space is incredible!
This next ring she called Birds of Paradise. Can you guess why? If you look closely you’ll see a little bird “flying” in on the left of the agate stone. And just think, that was made by nature. Stunning!
And we now come to the arrowheads rings I mentioned earlier. I really like the setting she chose to use which I think highlights the edges of the arrowheads rather nicely. I’ve also never seen an arrowhead in a ring before which makes me want to get one…for every finger!
What continues to amaze me is that with all the jewelry makers out there each one has their own style making each unique. I love seeing artists get creative with the things that this Earth provides! You go girl!
