A Little Spring in Your Winter

With winter closing in, I felt like I needed to see something alive and not green or red for a change!  I’ve always appreciated nature and how certain artists can take nature and preserve it perfectly.  That's what Paula of Resity does with her dainty nature inspired jewelry pieces.  She handmakes each and every piece with tiny little flower arrangements.

I found Resity through Instagram and have loved seeing the flowers pop up on my feed among all the Christmas images.  From the pictures I took from her Instagram page you can see her pieces may be small, but they pack a huge unique punch.

Her pieces look like she just plucked them from a flowerbed.  I think she has a great eye for color as well.  She combined various colors in some of her pieces which gives them dimension rather than just using a single colored flower.

While flowers have a natural texture to them, I think her moss pieces have the best texture of all her pieces.  By keeping them in a clear, simple setting you can really see all the little details in each piece.  Moss has such an interesting look; its like no other flower or stone.

And she makes more than just necklaces.  She also has resin rings with flower accents.  I have no idea how someone could possible go about creating these rings, but please keep on creating them because I love them!  I could stack these rings all day.  Too bad I only have 10 fingers!

And of course we couldn’t have flower necklaces without an adorable glass vile!  Cork viles have a great vintage look to me and saving precious flowers in one makes me love it even more.
